What is Pegged Currency ?

What is pegged Currency? And which countries pegged their currency with Euro and USD.

Currency pegs implies that an exchange rate of a currency is fixed either to another currency or an index of currencies. Countries do this to stabilize their exchange rates, this motivating confidence in exporters and importers and encouraging international trade.
